One of the strangest parts of becoming a career coach is that there’s no clear moment where someone gives you the title.
At first, you don’t have a degree that magically flips the switch.
No official promotion.
At some point, you might just realize people are asking you for advice.
You’re helping someone think through their career.
You’re guiding them through decisions that matter.
And suddenly the question appears:
Is this something I could actually build a business around?
Most career coaches didn’t start by saying
“I want to start a coaching company.”
They started by helping people.
Then the pattern becomes obvious.
So I’m curious about something:
What was the first moment you realized this could actually be a business for you?
Not when you decided to go all in.
The moment the idea first crossed your mind.
