The first time they really look at LinkedIn closely:
It feels crowded.
But structurally, it isn’t.
Most of what you see on your feed is shaped by who you interact with.
So if you’re a coach, you mostly see other coaches.
Meanwhile, the actual audience (people actively thinking about their careers) is much larger and much quieter.
That mismatch creates a weird experience where it feels like “everyone is already doing this,” even though most people looking for help aren’t seeing much consistent guidance at all.
I don’t think this is obvious when you’re in it.
It definitely wasn’t obvious to me early on.
