Combining cannabis & meditation:
For some adults, cannabis may help meditation feel more accessible by: 1. Relaxing physical tension It may help some people drop into the body more easily, especially if they hold stress in the jaw, shoulders, chest, or hips. 2. Slowing mental overactivity Some people feel less scattered and more able to focus inward-though for others it does the opposite. 3. Supporting emotional openness Meditation can bring up stored emotion. Cannabis may soften defenses and increase emotional access for some users. 4. Enhancing sensory meditation Practices like mindful tea, music meditation, candle gazing, nature sitting, or body scanning may feel more vivid. The spiritual side Many traditions throughout history have used plant medicines or sacred herbs in ritual, prayer, contemplation, or ceremony. For some people, cannabis can feel like a tool for introspection, helping them ask: - What am I avoiding? - What am I feeling in my body? - What needs compassion right now? - What am I attached to? - What am I trying to numb? That can be meaningful. But it’s important not to confuse altered consciousness with spiritual growth. A powerful feeling is not always a profound insight. Real spiritual practice usually shows up in: - patience - humility - consistency - emotional honesty - how you treat people - how you respond when life is hard Why don’t you try combining the two, my experience has been amazing!! I noticed that I was way more in tune with myself in so many areas. I find it easier to slip into a long relaxing meditation and cannabis helps me with my mental health as well💚💚💚
