Thurs - Apr 2. - Jim and I are less than camera-ready and still rock it!
LIVE Call #11 was no exception to the "Go Big or Go Home" rule of calming the Chaos. After having long chats with both @Christian Phipps and @Sharon D. Brown this week about narrowing our focus, I was ready to invite you all to consider how you stay focused on your dreams, goals, desires and keep Chaos at bay. @Dr. Jim DOC Weathers, DC, IBD-S, CKTI and I joke about "adult onset ADD," but it can feel like a real thing when you have many responsibilities, opportunities, and shiny squirrels all around. And it's a daily for entrepreneurs. The kicker for both of us was to see more clearly how that little bugger Anxiety shows up. Seeing ourselves as curious, interested in many things, and wanting to reach out in many directions, we also concluded that it can be an avoidance when we don't grow the "infant" to fruition. Where does avoidance, anxiety, and shiny object syndrome show up in your world?

Thurs - Mar 19. Jim and I discuss Presenter Chaos!
How do you feel about speaking in front of an audience? As Speakers, Jim and I have dealt with some wild interruptions and mishaps in front of audiences. And even if you don't consider yourself a Speaker by trade, maybe you've been in the position where all eyes are on you while you are teaching, interacting, sharing info with any type of group, team, or organization. It can be daunting to be in the "hot seat" when materials don't get delivered, or Wi-Fi cuts out, your practiced talk doesn't align with the visual presentation (hint - practicing too much can make us sound rote and rob us of the natural interactive tone an audience responds to best). Here's a thought to beat the imposter syndrome that might creep up on you: Audiences are generally pulling for you to succeed, and they don't live in your head. They won't know if you've left something out or had to pivot in an unexpected direction. They aren't spending time beating up on you, so you shouldn't either!

Have you ever found yourself sitting on an empty shelf in the Toilet Paper Aisle? Check out this tidbit I "handed over" (HA!) in this video for you! And Oops! I forgot to load the video from last week's call! It was a bit lonely, but I never waste an opportunity to share what works. This video will be placed in the LIVE Call Videos folder tomorrow. Wednesday - Feb 18. LIVE Call #5 Video - Embracing Change
Hello My Friend! What a terrific LIVE Call we had this evening! @Hana Van Campen and @Dr. Jim DOC Weathers, DC, IBD-S, CKTI hopped in to share and learn from all of the great comments and posts you've offered. We reviewed a few strategies from previous conversations that have worked for several members. Also, we focused on @Rozalind Murray's addition to the meditation of relaxing the body part-by-part with a color visualization from red to blue. I'm going to work through that one when I wind down this evening. Jim reminded us that there is always good within the Chaos, even when it takes us a while to recognize it. He shared about enormous losses that led to his moving to Colorado and starting over, which has resulted in some wonderful gains. Hana brought a new perspective to Chaos, becasue she thrives on having many activities and obligations to meet. She has a lot of energy and her hands in education, research, animal studies and so many animals of her own to care for. She's finds that embracing change fules her. For me, writing down a list BEFORE bed of the priorities of the next morning, which was suggested previously by Jim, is helping me to reduce the Chaos of trying to remember what I have to do each morning. It's a Chaos Calmer for me! Check out this evening's video. It's SO worth your time!

Thursday - What Exactly IS The Chaos? LIVE Call #3
Wowzers! @Dr. Jim DOC Weathers, DC, IBD-S, CKTI and @Kevin Whitacre brought the Chaos down to Calm yesterday. They shared challenges and solutions to their work day Chaos - and I'd say these concepts apply equally to our personal relationships! Setting and Following the Purpose of the Day - the night before Our Phones - they distract us and waste time when our mental Chaos comes calling Boundaries - when a project manager has an "ADHD" style that causes more Chaos than confidence. How do stop chasing that Chaos and offer your leadership without stepping on toes What do YOU feel, My Friend? Are these Chaos-makers present in YOUR life? How have you handled them? What might you do differently after hearing Jim and Kevin? (The GIF is especially for you, Rozalind!) 🤣
