Be Bigger Than Your Problems
Lately on social media I've seen people complaining about how many people are two missed paychecks away from being homeless. Could be one medical emergency, one blown transmission, one major problem, and you're done. But when I think about millionaires and billionaires, it occurs to me that they also are one big problem away from being in the same situation. A $10,000,000 surprise to a millionaire is just as heavy as a $1000 surprise to a hundredaire. The thing is, you don't hear about it as often. And I think it's because the people in the higher echelons of earning power are bigger than their problems. It's not that the problems don't happen. Believe me, they do. I've got some friends in those categories and when they tell me the challenges they have it almost makes ME want to barf. The difference is, they're bigger than their problems. They know they don't have to sit there and take the hit. They know they can move. Pivot. Dance. Build. Expand. Grow. It's still a big problem but they're bigger than that problem, and they know they can grow past it, and in fact, even use it as fuel to get them to the next level. There's a mental shift that comes when you've been in business for a bit. You become tougher without sacrificing your humanity. You don't become emotionless, but you know that they're tools that are meant to serve you, and not you serving them. You know that fear is a signal for action, not something that keeps you buried and feeling overwhelmed. You know that anger is meant for you, not for others, and that any anger that comes up is about a situation and never about a person. The bigger you are compared to the problems, the bigger the problems are that you can handle. But eventually you can become bigger than any problem. That's when business gets fun :) Are you getting bigger than your problems? How's the growth been going?

AI is More than Chat GPT - How are you using it?
Good Morning All! Recently, I've had my eyes opened to AI automation tools (n8n, make.com, Manus, etc.) to automate certain tasks in business. I'm wondering if/how people have been deploying these? Here's an example of an automation in make.com for those often in a Zoom Meeting: - Use Fathom to record call notes - Data is scraped into a CRM - Key Action Items/Next Steps drafted into a follow-up email, ready to send to client/prospect This is a really simple one I've used for client calls so they have an email chain started, making it easy to reply with follow-up information we discussed. I'd love to hear different ways you all might be using these automation tools. And if this is a new concept for you, consider this the first door down the rabbit hole!

The Golden Ticket to Closing More Sales
Most people fail in sales not because they don’t know what to say, but because they never learn how to listen. Too many salespeople spend the whole conversation thinking about their next line, their rebuttal, or their clever closing question. The golden ticket is already being handed to them in the words of the person they are talking to. The client will tell you what they need. They will tell you their pain points, their priorities, and even what it will take for them to say yes. But you will miss it if you are too busy trying to sound smart instead of being present. Want to win more sales? Slow down. Listen with intention. Ask better questions and actually hear the answers. Because the best closers are not the best talkers. They are the best listeners.
The Golden Ticket to Closing More Sales
The way you respond matters…
We live in a broken world. People fight hate with more hate, and even Christians try to defend with bitterness and anger. Pastors lose sight of their calling and walk away because it’s hard. Life is but a vapor. We only get one shot to give our best. As believers, our focus must be to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind so that one day we’ll hear the words… “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” The way you respond matters. We can’t control everything, but we can plant seeds and trust God to make them bloom into something beautiful. Don’t be silent. Don’t back down. But when you respond, respond the way Jesus would. With love. With compassion. With sympathy… And by bearing fruit that points others back to Him.
