Builder’s Table is happening in 3 days
Phase 1 starting now!
7 days reset was exactly what I needed to kick-start something. The 3 habits i will work on daily to keep are morning routine, protecting my focus and keeping a promise. Especially the last one I feel i need the most, still not trusting myself. Went from crisis mode to fixing mode, still missing the reality check of feeling mode. Previous history suggests i might be skipping that again until completely alone. Eeh what do i know, discipline is what is needed, I'll stick to that and see what gives.

Pattern Recognition
Hey everyone, I hope your journey is going well. I just wanna share an important and valuable pattern I’ve noticed while going through the 7 day life reset. 3 weeks ago it seemed as if my marriage, my work, and my relationship with extended family was in crisis mode. It seemed my whole life was falling apart and I felt anxious, overwhelmed and helpless. This wasn’t my first time feeling this way though, over the passed 12 years I’ve been going through these cycles as challenges came my way. I consider myself an avid problem solver so when I feel backed in a corner with my issues I normally seek beyond my own understanding. I read, I watch videos, I asses and adjust my diet, my workout, my breathing, my habits, and my influences (social media feed) for optimal mental and physical function. These changes have always served me well. So much so that I’ve grown and evolved so much over the years that I’m pretty unrecognizable to someone who met me at the start of my journey. Now I get it new levels bring new challenges so I don’t expect life to be easy at all but something about my last breakdown felt too familiar like life was trying to teach me a lesson I’ve learned before or at least I thought I learned. Prior to that break down I had gotten complacent and stopped my workout routine, wasn’t sleeping well, diet wasn’t the best. No meditation, no reading , no therapy, no journaling, basically very little discipline. I moved away from my building blocks, my foundation, and that led to me crashing out when the turbulence came. Fast forward to a 1 week ago things got heavy so I started walking at night for 2 miles, then by night 3 I started running, then did my first therapy session and almost immediately I was drawn from my perception of my issues and worrying about them to being PRESENT and you know what, in the present life is actually pretty good. It’s the past and the future that sometimes gives me the chills. becoming a part of this community and going through the 7 day life reset showed me that I’ve been on track. I knew what to do, I’ve been doing the thing, and it’s brought me a far way. What I’m missing is the community to help me with accountability and consistency when things get easier and this program here is an excellent place for that so thanks @Devin Linder and the team for living out loud and building and sharing this community so we can all have an environment to grow in! Have a blessed day everyone. 💪🏿🙏🏿😎
So Grateful!!
The first call was absolutely incredible. I could relate to everyone’s story, having experienced something similar at some point in my life. Thank you, Devin, for being so patient and for giving us a fresh perspective. I’m looking forward to the growth we’ll all experience in this group.
A nightly reflection.
Most things in my life feel like a double edged sword. I give everything to my family (wife - 5 kids) they love me so much, 1 week ago I worked three jobs (I want to make sure they have everything they need), my kids cry before I leave and beg me to stay it breaks my heart to leave, (2 years ago we were homeless for 9 months, and we had our fifth child in a caravan), due to our rental being renovated and then declared unfit to live due to asbestos and the landlords special doing it on the cheap, Now we have a 4 bedroom house and I was finally able to finance a car that will last us more than 6months (we went through $17k in 2 years on cars alone), this was due to my triple income but had no time for my family and even when I was home I was burnt to the core. Last week I was ment to start my new job that was the equivalent of my 3 jobs combined, a standard 9 to 5 and I could provide the finance and time to my family, (my wife broke her leg unexpectedly) I lost that job and have all the time and zero finances now 😅 I took a leap and damn a leap it was. I'm now sitting down in the quite my wife and kids watching a movie together in a house that is permanently messy and a 12 seater car that can cart our family of 7 and their friends, (I know I can't make the repayments next month... We might be homeless again... We might have no car again... In the back of my mind Im thinking I'm 29 looking at possible bankruptcy and not sure if I can take care of my kids... Inside I'm full of panic... Dread... And well hope somehow) We have always made it, we have figured it out every time, but also I'm in my dream situation I have a house for my kids, I have the car I've always wanted, and the family I've always dreamed of and yet it's crushing me all my dreams and hopes have come true but my mind is stuck on I can't even hold my dream it's sliding through my hands like sand. But in this panic I keep flipping the coin on one side is if end it all I'll be free ( a very stupid thought... Also I won't do it but if I'm being real it's there) the other side of the coin is (Damn I'm so fucking blessed to have all these beautiful things I've wanted ever since I was a kid I fucking made it, I get to clean a house that my kids play in and have no worries, I have a partner that stands by me and even though I'm so fucking exhausted to even show her I appreciate her she's here, I have a vehicle that can take us on the adventures of a life time... I just want to appreciate the time I have right now because I know it's great... Quicksand made of gold 😝)
