Midweek Smoko - Summary 16th June 2026
Key Outcomes -
Naomi resumed weekly Smoko updates after a hiatus and announced the completion of the first draft of her book, She Knows Her Brief, which contains 14 chapters with 10 accompanying tools now available to the community before publication. The first reconfigured tool, Space Awareness, has been posted to the classroom for immediate use.

Space Awareness Tool Content - Mini Course now in the Classroom
- Standard measurements: Covers standard sizes and measuring protocols for communicating height, width, and thickness to trades clearly
- Clearances guidance: Includes space requirements around wardrobe swinging doors, toilets, fridge doors, and dishwasher drawers
- Design checklist: Functions as a prompt to prevent omissions when communicating design information
