The White Belt Mentality
I want to take a moment to acknowledge two people who have genuinely changed the way I see martial arts — Erik and Kyle.
Nearly 4 years of working alongside them, and I am still humbled by what they bring to this community. As I upload their videos, I’m reminded time and time again of what makes them truly special — they honor every art and every teacher with a level of sincerity that is rare.
They walk into every room as students first. No ego. No agenda. Just a pure, unwavering respect for the instructors, the traditions, and the moments they capture.
That is the white belt mentality — always open to learning, always present, always genuine.
The martial arts world is lucky to have them. I know I am.
