This collection is a curation of all my best content on parenting; both giving and receiving.

The first section dives straight into the kind of parenting styles and techniques that promote a child's self-confidence and builds a loving long term connection with them.

The section on Ethical Questions gets you to look at your role-modelling and ask yourself tough philosophical questions about how you want to raise your child.

The Parenting Mistakes section looks at the correlation between certain parenting techniques and later difficulties for the child with confidence, relationships and career success, so you can avoid making critical errors.

The Dealing with Trauma section addresses a lot of the difficulties you had with your own parents, how to stop the cycle of damaging behaviour, and how to move on from your own suffering.

I am not a parenting expert by any means. Consider this material to be more from the perspective of a coach (and former probation officer) who has spent decades working with people who received inadequate or harmful parenting. I can see what DOES NOT WORK, and I've been able to research what does.

I am a dad myself, and I hold myself to a high standard to a) practice what I preach, and b) make sure what I practice actually works. My daughter is my priority, and I measure the effect my parenting has on her very carefully.

I hope this helps you connect better with your children, and enjoy the pride of stopping or at least reducing the trauma cycles from your own ancestry.
