Welcome to the Bridge Art Gallery Community
We’re so glad you’re here! Bridge Art Gallery is more than a place to show work, it is a space to grow, share, and build together. This community exists to support visual artists through conversation, critique, professional development, and real professional opportunities to move forward. Whether you’re here to post work, join the weekly drawing challenges, participate in the Bridge Art Exchange (BAX), or simply learn alongside other artists...you belong here! To get us started, introduce yourself below: 1. Your name & where you’re based 2. Your primary medium 3. One word that describes your current season as an artist If you’d like, feel free to share an image of your work or a work-in-progress. This is a supportive space, so show up as you are. We’ll be sharing upcoming challenges, opportunities, and conversations soon. Until then, take a look around, connect with a fellow artist, and jump in when you’re ready. Welcome to the Community!

This piece uses bold and energetic colors to reflect movement, warmth, celebration, and cultural exchange. The reds, oranges, pinks, and greens create a living atmosphere inspired by food, people, music, and shared experiences across Black and Chinese cultures. Through this work, I am exploring the possibility of cultural fusion through food as a universal language. The piece was created for a Ghanaian restaurant as both a cultural statement and a celebration of community, identity, and connection.

Portraits snd Subtext
The more you interconnect with your subject the greater insight u gain which then gives u cues on what direction to go in the photosession. I do deep listening. Its a skill u learn over time. In acting its called subtext. Have u ever seen the woody allen film Annie Hall? There's an important scene in the film where Woody and Annie Hall are having a conversation on one level and at the bottom of the screen our subtitles that show with their really thinking. If you practice you can hear what people are really saying underneath their words and that will give you insight into where to go with your photograph I know it sounds complex but it's just a matter of as I always say "being thoughtful" What stories or subtext lies beneath these images?
