This artwork explores the idea of thinking becoming visible.
AVATAR - 2024 - Digital Painting It reflects on how the mind, usually hidden, can be expressed through patterns, symbols, and fragmented forms, almost like a visual language of thought. Embedded within the composition is the map of Ghana, grounding the work in my heritage. It becomes a quiet anchor, suggesting that even as the mind expands, questions, and adapts, it is still shaped by origin, memory, and cultural identity. The crown points to awareness, not authority, but a consciousness of how one thinks and moves through the world. There is a contrast between stillness and complexity. The body is composed, while the mind appears layered, active, and continuously forming meaning. At its core, the work explores the meeting point between instinct and intelligence, and how identity is not simply given, but built, thought by thought, rooted in where one comes from.
