Kofi Chang’s
This piece uses bold and energetic colors to reflect movement, warmth, celebration, and cultural exchange. The reds, oranges, pinks, and greens create a living atmosphere inspired by food, people, music, and shared experiences across Black and Chinese cultures. Through this work, I am exploring the possibility of cultural fusion through food as a universal language. The piece was created for a Ghanaian restaurant as both a cultural statement and a celebration of community, identity, and connection.

The DIY factor is slowly becoming DNA. People no longer just want the product. They want to understand the process. How it works. How it’s built. How it can be rebuilt. We are entering an age where understanding systems is becoming increasingly important.
