Tip: By-When" Statements:
Stop saying "I'll do it later." Start saying "I will have this done by 2:00 PM.
"Later" is a glitch in the ADHD brain—it's a fake place that doesn't exist on the map, so the task just wanders around your head forever. By attaching a hard time like 2:00 PM, you’re giving that thought an anchor in the physical world, which forces your nervous system to actually acknowledge the deadline instead of just ignoring it.
