What is this thing on my bow?
Hi! Brand new to traditional archery, and just got a bow from my step dad who’s had it in storage since the ‘70s. A beautiful Browning Explorer 1 that feels like it has a soul. It’s got this plastic thing on it above where the arrow sits and it doesn’t seem like it should be there and looks broken. Can anyone tell me what it is and what I’m supposed to do about it? Appreciate the help!
