I recently published a new Substack piece called “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”
This one is a little different. It includes a fictional writing piece, but it also connects back to the larger world I’ve been building through The Skin Series — books centered around love, identity, womanhood, healing, self-discovery, and becoming.
I’m starting to understand more clearly how my writing, books, visuals, and products all speak to each other. They may show up in different forms, but they come from the same deeper place: creating work that invites people to feel, reflect, and see themselves more honestly.
Inside the article, I also gently invite readers to explore some of the books in The Skin Series on my website. I’m testing how written storytelling can guide readers back to my body of work without making the connection feel forced or overly sales-focused.
I’d love for you to check it out and share any feedback on the writing, the positioning, or how the article connects back to the larger creative world I’m building.
