WISDOM OF PLAY
I have two kids, and there is so much wisdom in them. Not because they are always peaceful, but because they are still exploring.
👉 They push boundaries.
👉 They test limits.
👉 They ask questions with their whole body:
👉 How far can I go?
👉 What happens if I try?
👉 Will I still be loved if I push the edge?
As adults, we often lose this relationship with exploration. Society shapes us, life experiences shape us, responsibility shapes us, pain shapes us, criticism shapes us and slowly, we may stop playing, stop risking, stop enjoying ,stop asking what else is possible, stop being truly present.
The nervous system may learn to stay careful.
Controlled.
Composed.
Productive.
Useful.
But not fully alive.
Healing is not only about calming down.
Sometimes healing is remembering how to play, move, try, laugh, risk, and be here again.
Thank you for inspiring question
