Now is the time to buy our straps for our 2025 Hurricane Season
If you haven’t purchased the straps from your lift yet… now’s the time. 📦 Here’s what I recommend for hurricane prep for members and life owners: 🔹 Minimum Rating: 3,500 lbs 🔹 Preferred Rating: 5,000+ lbs 🔹 Type: Heavy-duty ratchet straps 🔹 Length: 15–20 ft depending on dock height I’ve tested a bunch—these are solid and hold tight under stress: Rhino USA Ratchet Straps Heavy Duty Kit (4-Pack) - 1.6 Inch x 15 Feet (5,208lb Break Strength) - Ultimate Tie Down Straps with Safety S Hooks for Trucks, ATV, UTV, Motorcycle, Cargo & More - Red https://a.co/d/8s0j032 8 Straps total needed. If you’re not a Hurricane Protection plan member and strap your lift down yourself , You’ll want to run them through 4 points of the lift. Use the Cleet from your vessel , wrap around cradle and ensure straps are on all 4 points of lift and vessel, Also strap cradle to lift poles to prevent sway if you do not have a Hurricane Bracket.

Hurricane Season Predictions and expected storms
🌪️ Heads-Up, South-West Florida : Early Tropical Activity Brewing in the Atlantic 🌊 Just days into the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, meteorologists are monitoring potential tropical development that could impact Florida and the Gulf Coast as early as mid-June. 🔍 What’s Happening? AccuWeather forecasts indicate a moist zone forming from South Florida through the Bahamas and Cuba, bringing repeated showers and heavy thunderstorms. This pattern may lead to several inches of rain, with the possibility of street and highway flooding in areas like Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Additionally, a low-pressure area moving through the western Caribbean and eastern Gulf is being monitored for tropical development between June 7–12. If a tropical depression or storm forms, it could drift into the Gulf or move onshore over Central America, southeastern Mexico, or Cuba. 📅 Key Dates to Watch • June 4–6: Potential impacts along Florida, Georgia, or the Carolinas from coastal disturbances. • June 7–12: Possible tropical development in the western Caribbean and eastern Gulf. • June 9–13: Florida may experience effects from the developing low-pressure system. 🌀 2025 Hurricane Season Outlook AccuWeather predicts a dynamic season with 13 to 18 named storms, including 3 to 6 direct U.S. impacts. Warm sea-surface temperatures and high ocean heat content are expected to fuel rapid storm intensification. 🧰 Be Prepared Stay informed and prepared.
