First Named storm let’s make sure we’re ready and prepared Gang
🌪️ Florida Eyes on the Tropics: First Named Storm of 2025 Emerges 🌊
Tropical Storm Alvin just became the first named storm of the 2025 hurricane season — and while it’s spinning out in the Eastern Pacific, it’s still a big reminder: Hurricane Season is HERE.
🌀 Quick Facts:
  • Formed May 29, far off Mexico’s coast
  • Winds reached 50 mph
  • Not heading toward Florida — but it’s a signal to get ready
Florida isn’t in Alvin’s path, but this storm is the official kickoff warning that things can fire up fast in both the Pacific and Atlantic basins. With heat building across the Gulf and Atlantic, we could be just days or weeks away from our own first named system.
📦 Now’s the time to:
  • Secure or inspect your boat lift and dock
  • Prep hurricane straps and canopy covers
  • Review your storm plan and gear checklist
  • Double-check your Hurricane Protection Subscription (or DM us to get covered)
This is just the beginning, and 2025 is forecast to be a very active season.
🛟 If you’re in Florida and near the water, don’t wait for the first warning — prep now and stay safe. We’ve got your dockside covered 💪
