If you’re not a Hurricane Protection plan member and strap your lift down yourself , You’ll want to run them through 4 points of the lift. Use the Cleet from your vessel , wrap around cradle and ensure straps are on all 4 points of lift and vessel, Also strap cradle to lift poles to prevent sway if you do not have a Hurricane Bracket.
