Thought I’d celebrate a mistake…

Phone rang today (TBH first thought was to let it go to voicemail), scrambled to get headphones on, hit record, and picked up the call.

Deal is at CAT3 step. Past few months, agent was filling my inbox so I explained we don't buy retail. Earlier this week, he brought a motivated seller whose father is in the hospital.

Immediately sensed he was rushed because taking Friday off, using improved phone skills, was able to slow things down and bring him to a somewhat personal level.

Then, he asked where I’m at with an offer, and my mind went blank. Spent the next couple of minutes on fluff, talking about how I’ll run numbers and talk it over with the group, lack of dominance, and sandwich-making.

Once hung up and released the fear state of mind, it hit me - Low_Quick_Cash. I’ve emailed dozens of CLOQCs but never spoke to one on a call.
