Day 267 โ Cold Calls, Lots of New Meetings, Need Pre-meeting Follow-up Sequence ๐
โ
What I Did Today - Made 63 outbound cold calls โ booked 4 new meetings - Started building another core service offering to my business so that I can sell that service as well - Researched some lead generation automations I could add to my website/business so that I could have leads coming in through multiple channels ๐ก What I Learned / Noticed - At the beginning of the day I was tired and not upbeat, confident, or motivated to make calls, I mainly just made them to hit a number - In the afternoon was when I booked 3 of the 4 calls and was way more upbeat, confident, and friendly as I tried to ask if it was the business owner instead of the business so that I sounded more approachable and less like someone trying to get through a script - One of the meetings I booked was same day and he didnโt show up or answer my calls or texts so I think that pre-meeting sequence will be important - I noticed in one of the communities I am a part of that some people call before the meeting a few times just to confirm it, tomorrow I have a meeting and will try that out - The Apple ecosystem practically forces you to remain using their products because when you buy their phone you then need storage to store your photos and documents and they keep on upselling you so that you remain in their ecosystem, I want to build an ecosystem around my business just like this so that people can get everything that they need from one place - This will reduce churn as well as improve customer lifetime value, therefore increasing revenue by A LOT ๐ฏ Whatโs Next - Finish building out the pre-meeting follow-up automation sequence [URGENT] - Integrate with services that allow blue text message (iMessage) texting for opted-in leads [not as urgent] - Call the lead for the meeting tomorrow and confirm it - Test out calling and pitching the new service tomorrow that I am adding which may be easier to sell since I offer value first rather than just pitching them the reviews automations
