Anxiety and stress take over, you take shallow breaths and push through the day . Then go to bed and feel like you can't unwind amd your mind won't stop? Learn to breathe. During the day, walk away from the stressor, the desk, the phone, the noise of the day. Ideally I would suggest going for a 10 minute walk and take some deep belly breaths. If you have to sneak away to a restroom or your car to hide for a few minutes, do it. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, then repeat 4 or more times. It takes practice, but the more you practice the quicker you will be able to get to a calm space. You can find lots of information from the Calm app to YouTube. Find what works for you, clear your mind and regulate your body.
