In the middle of your busy day, pause. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in through your nose… And gently exhale through your mouth. Feel your feet on the ground. Feel your breath moving through you. This moment is yours. You don’t have to chase peace — you just have to return to it.

Gave myself a little scare yesterday. I’ve been suffering from palpitations for 9 days with pain in my arm. Spent 13 hours at the hospital waiting for results of ecg and blood tests only to be told everything came back normal (great news) but they don’t know what’s causing them. As I’m peri-menopausal they think that’s what’s causing them 🙄. It gave me time to think of my lifestyle and how right now it feels like 100 mile an hour trying to juggle work, family and getting my own business up and running. Time to take a step back and try to slow down a bit. As my mum always says “what’s for you, won’t go by you”.
