So first practice I was super sore & worried I aggravated the disc herniation… so I didn’t swim for 1week and tried other activities (including a 4 hr mountain bike skills clinic)… So I’m ok… had total-body-dolar (soreness) after MTB clinic… but back/leg were OK. Swim today seemed a bit better… didn’t seem as foreign and although I’m a turtle (actually sea turtles probably swim faster than me! 😆)… I lasted 45 min. My challenge is getting out of the pool. It’s 7-8 ft so you grab edge of pool and push up and then bring leg up. That hurt. A lot. So I’m going to need to figure out how to train to make that easier and avoid injury.
