BPDA
Borderline Personality Disorder Anonymous Hi Everyone! I'm excited to announce this free recovery group! It's similar to other 12-step programs. Join the movement of people with BPD supporting each other through a lifestyle of recovery and community. This group is focused on people who suffer from symptoms of BPD and their loved ones. We mirror the other 12 step fellowships, where we have no opinion on anything. There is no crosstalk and the 12 steps tailored to borderline personality disorder recovery are provided. Step 1 — Acknowledgment We acknowledged that our emotional responses and patterns had become bigger than our ability to manage alone, and that our relationships and inner world were suffering as a result. Step 2 — Openness We became open to the possibility that healing was available to us, whether through community, a higher power, science, or something greater than our current understanding. Step 5 — Disclosure We shared our inventory openly — with ourselves, with our community, and with a trusted person — acknowledging the impact of our patterns on ourselves and others. Step 6 — Willingness We became willing to examine and release the adaptive behaviors that once protected us but no longer serve our healing and growth. Step 7 — Asking We humbly sought support — from our community, our practice, and our higher understanding — to help us rewire the patterns keeping us stuck. Step 8 — Accountability We made an honest list of the ways our symptoms have caused harm — to ourselves first, and then to others — and became willing to take responsibility without self-destruction. Step 9 — Amends

TNG Munch 6/19
Who all is going to the munch today? I look forward to it being at this brewery and seeing everyone. I've been taking it easy today with social interactions in order to have full energy for this munch. Do ya'll do anything different on days you are attending events or munches? Personal boundaries you have that help you stay unmasked at the munch while keeping your social battery full? This month's TNG munch link. I'll be there today and happy to talk about Boundaries and Becoming. Please approach me if you like. Let's all look out for each other when we see each other at events. It's okay to interrupt me for a hug if you see me in mid-conversation.
