Yet Another Question From Me

I almost had my newsletter form ready to go (freebie was attached). When I tested it on Mailerlite, everything was fine and my free children's book showed up fine. I posted the form to my website, tried to see if it worked there (using another address) and the book doesn't show up at all. All I get is an email confirmation and thankyou for signing up! Did I forget a step? What did I do wrong?
