YAY!!!! I finally got my reader's magnet up so it downloads when someone signs up! After all this time and guess what I did wrong? I forgot to toggle the activation button! I had to watch Harleigh's video several times before I caught that. Thanks, Harleigh!
I use convertkit* for landing pages and email captures. They are very easy to use and set up. You can do a lead magnet and even sell things on there too. Depending on how you are distributing your books maybe you could do a mini course and bundle it together with the book to get pre-sale orders? There are so many things you can do. If it appeals to teachers then maybe put it with a lesson plan. I think @Harleigh Manske talked about that in one of her videos
I am not using Amazon KDP nor have I set things up to sell my book on Amazon. I understand that it is commonly used. What are the pros and cons? I am I missing out? I am doing the fulfillment of orders. I do not have a large Catalog of books yet. And as I said prior my book is projected to be ready for sale in about 4 weeks.
Totally agree! Ebooks are an easy way to make some change! You get money for every page someone reads your book the first time through. Often times I wake up and I made 13 cents while I was sleeping! I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but it adds up!
@Harleigh Manske can you make a video on how to get your book character turned into a stuffed animal with recommendations on who to work with and things like that? I have a children's book that I've wanted to do that with for a long time, but never knew who to go with or how the process worked.
