I’m using a Behringer UMC202HD audio interface, with an Audio-Technica AT2040 XLR microphone connected to it.
I also have my headphones plugged into the Behringer for monitoring.
Here’s the issue:
When I speak during a Zoom call, the students hear me perfectly, but when I play the piano, some of them say they can’t hear it at all.
- The piano is also connected to the Behringer interface.
- I’ve enabled “Original Sound for Musicians” in Zoom.
- I’ve disabled noise suppression and applied all the recommended “music mode” settings for Zoom.
Still, the piano isn’t coming through for some participants (especially children using laptops).
Do you know the problem?
I did a test with someone who connected from their phone, and both the piano and my voice were heard perfectly.
Zoom cuts out the sound of the piano for some children who join from a laptop.
The problem is my laptop or their laptop?
