I'm pretty excited to get in the ring and have my first fight.
Lately, I've been working on keeping distance and employing more long-guard techniques. I think I have pretty solid offense, speed, power, and all that for my first fight.
My biggest weakness that I want to brush up on is my defense, especially my rear-hand defense. I would like to keep my opponent at range as a longer fighter, but sometimes they catch me with a good hook around my long guard.
I think using more rear hand defense like parries, and lead hand defense like lifts will level up my game.
And of course the most important and best defense, feet movement. I tend to get heavy footed, especially when I want to attack / late in the rounds.
Attached is a sparring video that I had recently, any feedback is greatly appreciated.
