I have a question in Ifá. What is Ifá's perspective on the evil eye? How is it understood within the tradition? Also, how can someone tell the difference between the effects of the evil eye and situations that are simply part of their spiritual growth? Sometimes life seems to bring unexpected obstacles, delays, or conflicts. How do we discern whether those experiences are the result of someone else's envy or negative intentions, or whether Òrìṣà, our ancestors, or our destiny are moving things around to develop our character, teach us a lesson, or redirect us? I know it's easy to blame everything on spiritual attacks, and I don't want to fall into that way of thinking. I'm trying to understand how Ifá teaches us to distinguish between these experiences while remaining grounded in good character (Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́). I'd love to hear your thoughts and any teachings. A dúpẹ́. 🙏🏾
