Alright cool humans + cool dogs, here we go! Our very first official challenge is the Leave It Challenge 🎉

👉 Here’s how it works:

Post your Leave It Challenge videos right here in this thread, in the comments under this post.
You’ll also see a “LEAVE-IT 💪 CHALLENGE” video category — that’s where it will be stored once you post.

💡 What to do:

We’re going to reward and give LOTS of positive reinforcement when our dogs leave it — whether it’s food (try a variety!) or even an object. The goal is clarity + calmness: dog sees the temptation, resists, and gets rewarded big time.

🎥 Posted is the first official Leave It-Challenge video💪 so you have a clear example of how to present the object and encourage the “leave it” choice- whether your dog already knows the command, or they're learning it for the first time.

✨ I also added some info in Mission 3, so check that out if you haven’t yet!

📌 The Goal: Post five Leave It videos on five different days. There’s no rush — this challenge is ongoing. You officially complete the challenge once you’ve uploaded all five, but take your time and have fun with it. Label your videos:

"Day 1 Leave-It Challenge - Griz"

"Day 2 Leave-It Challenge - Griz & Padfoot"

"Day 3 Leave-It Challenge - Ginny"... and so on!

I’m really excited to see all your Leave It videos in the comments — and of course, keep going with your Mission videos as well! Mission videos should still be posted under “Write Something” in the community.
