Mindful Monday Check-In: What is your body asking for this week? 🌿
Sweet friends, as we step into a new week, let’s pause before we start piling on all the things we think we should do.
Before the to-do list. Before the rushing. Before the “𝙄 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧” thoughts.
Let’s ask something softer:
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸? (journal page provided)
Your body is always communicating with you.
Sometimes it whispers:
🫖 “I need warmth.”
🌿 “I need rest.”
💧 “I need water.”
☀️ “I need sunlight.”
💜 “I need quiet.”
🥗 “I need nourishment.”
🚶‍♀️ “I need gentle movement.”
😴 “I need sleep.”
🌸 “I need softness, not pressure.”
Wellness does not always begin with doing more. Sometimes it begins with listening.
So today, take one quiet minute. Place a hand over your heart, take a slow breath, and ask:
This week, my body is asking for…
Do not overthink it. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲.
Maybe your body is asking for more water, a slower morning, a short walk, a cup of tea, a nap, a nourishing meal, or permission to stop pushing so hard.
