DIY Lavender Bath Soak and Coconut and Honey Foot Soak
Happy Self-Care Saturday, lovely souls!
Today, let's treat ourselves to some homemade pampering. I'm excited to share two of my favorite DIY self-care recipes that are not only easy to make but also wonderfully nourishing for your skin and senses.
First up, we have a Soothing Lavender Bath Soak:
What you'll need:
- 1 cup Epsom salts
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup dried lavender buds
- 5-10 drops lavender essential oil
How to make it:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Store in an airtight jar. To use, add 1/2 cup to your warm bath water and soak for 20 minutes. The Epsom salts will ease muscle tension, while the lavender promotes relaxation.
Next, let's whip up a Refreshing Coconut and Honey Foot Scrub:
What you'll need:
- 2 tablespoons Pink Himalayan Salt
- 2 tablespoons Epsom Salt
- 1 tablespoon Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1 tablespoon Sweet Almond Oil (or any carrier oil you prefer)
- 1 tablespoon Raw Honey
- 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- 5 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
How to make it:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. To use, massage onto damp feet, focusing on rough areas. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
These DIY recipes are perfect for creating a spa-like experience at home. The bath soak will help you unwind after a long week, while the foot scrub will leave your feet feeling soft and refreshed.
Remember, self-care isn't selfish - it's necessary. Taking time to nurture yourself helps you show up as your best self for others.
