Full circle
I’m sitting in a waiting room getting my cars oil change today. I’m noticing so many tired faces, self consumed people, eating fast food, plugging away on phones, not making any eye contact.
Two TVs are on. One being a dope Korean story of dedication and war, the other, little house in the prairie. No one’s watching either.
Brought me to how I am not the same as the people in room. Then the deeper dive starts. I’ve spent my entire life in sports teams and behavioral health and social work. Dissection of opponents on opposite teams, beating defenses, finding holes and knifing through them.
How does all of this apply to my life now? what does full circle mean? Is it a completion? Or is it an evolution of the skills we’ve learned to apply to the next step?
I landed at using the skills that I’ve known and used to be successful in my lifetime as “the way”. No wheel needed to be recreated. The experiences speak for themselves. The daily consistent practices.
Full circle ⭕️ may mean realizing the importance of simplicity in practices and consistency it takes to implement the changes. Then going out and continuing the journey in the similar way but bring the knowledge to others.
What does full circle mean to you?
