I'm JJ, your raw vegan mindset coach and guide, and this community exists for one reason: to show you that raw vegan doesn't have to be hard, overwhelming, or all-or-nothing. At 42, I made an overnight shift away from the standard American diet. By Oct of 2019 I had lost 55 pounds and kept it off, ended 18 years of chronic back pain in just 30 days, and said goodbye to lifelong seasonal allergies... all through a raw vegan lifestyle. But here's what actually made it work. It wasn't restriction or forcing myself through it feeling miserable. It was falling completely in love with real food. And I wasn't perfect. Not even close. I have a background in psychology and I know that health is just as much about how you think as what you eat. That's why I coach both. I have been known to say: You don't just need a meal plan ... you also need a mind plan! Daily 4! I try to get all 4 in daily
Sometimes it’s just fruit & salad Sometimes it’s all 4 Sometimes its fruit salad & movement maybe their was no sun out .. but I at least might walk outside to relax a moment & breathe Maybe you only get 10 mins on elliptical or 10 leg lifts in your chair… no perfection but honestly what we track increases so keeping these top of mind can make it easy to get healthier! Who’s in! I’ll comment on this thread what I got in.. feel free to join me … Raw foods have made me feel amazing but I noticed at almost 50 these other things also add value & feel good to my life!
