What's the dumbest bug that wasted hours of your time?

We've all been there.

You're stuck on a bug for hours, testing everything — checking logic, debugging step by step, even rewriting the whole function.

And then you find the problem: a missing comma, a typo in a variable name, or a bracket that's just one position off.

That feeling when you finally find it is equal parts relief and frustration. You laugh at yourself, but you also know it'll happen again.
