"Here's Hope" >>> A Voice Agent Build Success Story

I was determined today to build a voice agent FAST!!! 🚀

Like, RIVOTED ON MAKING THIS HAPPEN.

And...

DONE.

Here's how it started.

(Nate's got some edge cases and extry functionality that is really important.)

Tried it... and it was failing.

Did everything he said.

Liam did great, but there's always things that don't go perfectly.

Started to feel real doubt, pit in my stomach... I was literally sweating.

But,

I pushed through

and did more research to figure out what I could be doing wrong:

Then a breakthrough:

Changed the model from Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite >>> GPT 4.1. Got better reasoning and handling, way better.
Also adjusted my Cal.com web form to remove the multiselect (maybe less complex to start is better.)

Put in my CC in RetellAI.

Bought a phone number for $2.

Then called my Voice Agent and...

Booked 2 discovery calls.

Now, it's not perfect but,

...I wanted a working demo,

now... I've got one.

So, if you are struggling,

push through.

Keep looking for answers.

Keep going.

Believe.

(When I hit some walls, I've recently been turning to gratitude to solve problems so, I paused, spent 5 minutes repeating all of the things I was grateful about the times we live in and the opportunities we have... kept a high vibration going.)

(I just knew I would figure it out and I did after a break full of gratitude.)

Make it happen!

Go and figure it out.

Off to do some cold calls and outreach.
