The "AI consultant" title isn't the problem. Your positioning is.
Everyone's debating whether "AI consultant" is dying as a title.
Wrong conversation.
I've talked to business owners who will happily pay $3k–$10k for someone to solve a specific, painful problem using AI. They don't care what your title is. They care about one thing: will this actually work for my business?
The title dies when you lead with the technology instead of the outcome.
"I build AI automations" → forgettable.
"I help real estate teams reclaim 15 hours a week by automating their follow-up process" → that's a meeting.
Stop worrying about the label. Get obsessed with the outcome you deliver.
What outcome do YOU lead with when you explain what you do?
