Hey guys just wanted to know how do you price your automations. Do you do an initial setup fee + monthly retainer or do you just sell the whole automation as a whole for a one time payment. Another one I was thinking of was pay per use (just so if the client uses the automation more than they estimate, you make more).
The client is currently stating my automation could save them 240hrs per year and on average they pay their employees $35/h. I am thinking $3k setup for both automations and $150 monthly for the one that saves them 80hrs and $300 monthly for the one that saves them 160hrs yearly. The only problem is that the client said these are estimates since they don't track their employees when they work. Also he mentioned the 240 hours saved can go into billable hours which is $100 minimum.
Just wanted to get some opinions on how you guys price in general.
