need advice on pricing tiers

Next month, I’m introducing a new tool to my group and plan on going to a paid model. My first tier would be $29/mo to use the tool(s) and a higher amount say $49/mo or higher and users can have the tools to resell for themselves. These amounts are not set yet. What do you guys/gals think about that? It’s something I coded myself and a lot of work went into it but it’s somehing that could help me get a lot of new members. How do you put a value on that? Grandfathered members would get all the benefits at lower tier and they would have to upgrade to the higher tier.
