How Students Get n8n Free For 1 Year

Yes, the Title is True. If You're a Student, Get n8n for Free for 1 Year! I recently completed these steps and now I have my own instance of n8n.

This process takes advantage of the Github Student Developer Pack which gives students credits to various different sites including Namecheap and Digital Ocean.

Glossary: GSDP = Github Student Developer Pack

Setup

Step 1:

Once you have your Github account, head to https://education.github.com/pack and apply to get access to the GSDP
This process can take a few days so just wait until you get the confirmation email that you've been approved

Step 3:

Once your Github account is approved, head to this link (https://cloud.digitalocean.com/login?activation_redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fcloud.digitalocean.com%2Fgithub-student-pack&onboarding_origin=github-student-pack&redirect_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcloud.digitalocean.com%2Fgithub-student-pack%3Fonboarding_origin%3Dgithub-student-pack%26activation_redirect%3D%2Fgithub-student-pack)
This is a link to Digital Ocean which will give you $200 in credits for one year once you sign up with the Github account which has the GSDP

Registering A Domain

For this step, you can use Namecheap's free .me domain offer (https://nc.me/) or any of the other domain offers in the GSDP
You'll need a domain for the last step
