Hi everyone. I’ve been learning a lot about AI and automation recently, and there’s so much information out there. One thing I don’t fully understand is why so many people are still focused on building workflows with n8n.
To me, it almost feels like taking a step backwards now that we have AI agents. Why not just use agentic workflows instead? Are AI agents still not reliable enough for certain use cases? Or is n8n simply a better choice for more complex or production-grade automations?
I’m genuinely curious to hear what people with more experience think.
Personally, I feel like n8n involves a lot of setup, and if an API changes, a node gets updated, or something breaks, the entire workflow can fail. It seems like there’s a lot of maintenance involved. Am I missing something, or is there a compelling reason why n8n is still the preferred choice for many automations?
