looks sexy. sounds easy
next thing?
you’re neck-deep learning 5 tools, copying some guy’s demo
but when it’s time to build real sh*t for a real client — you freeze
here’s a hard truth from someone who’s been in finance before and now neck-deep building AI stuff for paying clients the last 3 months
you don’t need another tutorial
you need a customer 💰
yup
one person. willing to try your automation. even better if they’re ready to pay
because when that happens?
you’ll stay up all night
you’ll debug flows
you’ll learn fast
you’ll deliver
but if you keep "learning" just for learning
you’ll waste 3 months and still feel like crap with nothing to show 😓
so stop chasing shiny tools
here’s what you need to start
one ai agent platform (vapi / retell / voiceflow)
one automation backend (make / n8n)
one LLM (openai or perplexity)
build just 3 things in 2 weeks
→ one voice agent for inbound/outbound
→ one cold email that you will use
→ one content creation system for your own posts
done?
now spend 80% of your time doing outreach
cold emails. dms. calls. walk-ins if you have to
first customer = game changer 🚀 everything else clicks after that...mark my words
