Delivering My First n8n Workflow to a Client — Need Advice
Hey everyone,
I’m about to deliver my first n8n workflow to a FREE client and wanted to learn how professionals usually handle the delivery side of things.
A few things I’m confused about:
- How do you usually deliver the workflow?
- Do you host it yourself or ask the client to self-host?
- How do you manage API keys and usage securely?
- Do you use the client’s accounts for OpenAI/Twilio/Meta APIs or your own?
- What’s the best way to handle maintenance, updates, and costs?
- Any beginner mistakes I should avoid before handing it over?
Would really appreciate advice from people already delivering automations to clients 🙌
