Day 5 Website

II’ll be honest, I never thought I’d be creating websites, but here I am with two.

When I downloaded the website MD file, Claude identified that it was originally built for Windows, so we worked through the process of upgrading it for Mac. That alone was pretty cool to figure out.

From there, I scraped my restaurant’s website and used the metadata to complete a full audit. Based on that audit, I created my own design for a new, more modern look.

After finishing that, I built a second website for another project my wife and I are working on. I also added an email capture form and integrated it with my mailing system for that project.

This was a lot more hands-on than I expected, but it showed me how much is possible when you’re willing to learn, test, and keep pushing through the parts you don’t understand right away.
