Are You Auditing Tasks or Auditing Decisions?
Tasks describe what people do.Decisions explain why things move or stop.
When you automate tasks without understanding decisions, you create faster confusion, not leverage.
A proper AI audit separates three layers:
- Execution: what is being done
- Judgment: how choices are made
- Authority: who is allowed to decide
If you cannot point to where judgment happens, you cannot automate it responsibly.If you ignore authority, you will break accountability.
