Today I built a self-improving Competitor Watch Agent in Claude Code for my e-commerce store.
The agent monitors competitors weekly, analyzes changes, scores its own performance, and records lessons learned in memory files. If an improvement proves valuable multiple times, it automatically updates its own workflow.
The fascinating part? After just 3 weeks, it had already refined its own prompt twice.
No traditional coding, no database, and no complex infrastructure—just structured files, memory, feedback loops, and a simple Monday routine.
This challenge showed me that AI can do much more than automate tasks; it can continuously improve the process itself.
