Learnt that Trigger.dev is a durable task runner for TypeScript. Write a function, it runs in their cloud on a schedule, retries automatically, and shows everything in a dashboard. Laptop can be closed and the 9am job still fires.
Used it to deploy a newsletter automation that runs weekly.
