Avoid SMS or Email for contractors?

After testing SMS cold outreach for about 2 weeks and after 400 roofing contractors reached out to I came to the conclusion that contractors do not check their SMS, tested 4 various messaging styles, avoided looking scammy as much as possible, and I avoided pitching to them in SMS.Basically avoided selling in SMS like you normally avoid in DM's. And I contacted only the mobile phones,avoided tollfree numbers and landlines.

Conclusion: Roofing Contractors do not check their SMS.

Question:Do they check their emails more often?(my guess was that they don't if they do not check their SMS)
