Introduction for Dakarayi Chigugudhlo

Hello everyone, my name is Dakarayi Chigugudhlo, and I’m a community leader, consultant, and aspiring AI Strategy Consultant with a strong background in nonprofit leadership, governance, and capacity building.

I joined this AI Consultant class because, as organizations across sectors begin adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI), many are doing so under pressure, often without clear guidance, staff readiness, or ethical frameworks in place. I have seen how this creates confusion, fear, misuse, and missed opportunities, especially for non-technical teams, nonprofits, and small businesses.

My goal is to help organizations and individuals use AI responsibly, ethically, and practically, in ways that support people rather than replace them. I am particularly interested in learning how to guide AI adoption through readiness assessments, staff training, workflow integration, and governance-aligned practices, while also supporting students and job seekers to use AI with integrity for learning and career development.

I am excited to be in this class to build the skills and insight needed to become a trusted, human-centered AI Strategy Consultant who helps people use AI wisely.
